<p>I think you have an excellent chance of getting into at least one of HYPS etc. I too an surprised that you chose math level 1.</p>

<p>@betterthanbest much of the content of the Math II test was not covered by my precal class unfortunately. I’m hoping that colleges won’t count it as a detriment.</p>

<p>That is very impressive. Your extracurriculars are definitely helping in that they all seem to focus on a few things, but you go deeply in them.</p>

<p>University of Texas honors college of natural science- with your extreme diligence to science, I htink you have a really good chance.
Harvard- reach for everybody
Yale- reach for everybody
Princeton- reach for everybody
MIT- reach for everybody
Stanford- reach for everybody
University of Chicago- reach for everybody
Rice- you guessed it… reach for everybody</p>

<p>However, I think though all these schools are reaches for everybody, I think you have a decent chance of getting into one or two of these. Although they are difficult, they are each looking for different things, so with that said, you are bound to fit at least one of their molds when they are building a new class. Additionally, since you are so focused on science and music endeavors, I think that raises your chances quite a bit. Though you are Indian, that helps, since you are connected with your culture (not many people are) and your instrument is quite unique. I wish you luck, and hope you go somewhere you can actively pursue your interests!</p>

<p>Just kidding, of course. I’d say you’re definitely a competitive applicant, and if you work hard on those essays, you’ll stand a great chance at most of the schools you’ve listed, as well as being fairly competitive applicant at the big schools (MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Harvard and UChicago). I see you getting into Rice and UTexas.</p>

<p>May I suggest UNC, UVA, and W&M? If you choose to not go to UTexas, all three of these schools are great, and I think you’d stand a great chance at acceptance. </p>

<p>You have really REALLY good stats!! :slight_smile: You look really good for UT, Rice and Chicago but the ivies I can’t assure that you’ll be accepted because the results of the ivies are unpredictable. </p>
