So I was browsing through the forums, and apparently one has to apply for a FAFSA in order to qualify for scholarships? is this true?
because I didn’t apply for FAFSA, so am I not elgible for ANY scholarships?

FAFSA = Fin. Aid (Need-based, not merit-based) I believe. I got a scholarship to a school and I didn't fill out a FAFSA form.

It depends on the school and the scholarship. Some types of scholarships do not require a FAFSA. Any need based scholarship will require a FAFSA and/or CSS. Merit scholarships do not always require a FAFSA.

Which schools have you been accepted to? The priority filing deadline has already passed for some UC's, so you need to file one ASAP if you want to be considered for need-based financial aid. You don't need the FAFSA for merit scholarships.
