I want to make sure (or at least try to make sure) that I don't end up without any summer programs to attend this summer.

I am applying to:
COSMOS
CMU SAMS
SCU SES
Stanford EPGY

My Stats:
Male, Hispanic, Junior, CA resident, not low income.
GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.3 W
SAT: 2180 (730 CR, 670 M, 780 W)
My main concern is that I have absolutely no STEM related ECs and my other ECs are weak. I just have the usual NHS, CSF, Key Club, and choir. I have a few minor leadership positions (no prez or VP). I think my recs and essays will be decent.

Am I not applying to enough summer programs? Am I applying to too many reach programs? Thanks for your help.

Jasoncheung: Congrats! I’m applying for the regular deadline, so I haven’t received a a decision yet. I’m going to apply for “Investigations in Bioscience & Biotechnology” as my first choice and “Investigations in Engineering” as my second choice.

hangooksaram: I would have, but I didn’t learn about it until it was too late. It would have been possible to apply, but my application would have been super rushed and knowing how selective MITES, I don’t think it would have been worth it. Hopefully I do get into EPGY and at least one of these other programs.
