What about some of the other great public institutions such as U of Wis or Michigan?

As one who values his anonimity I always thought that these were great choices. Wis. has a good business school. More S&P 500 CEO's went to Wis than went to Harvard.

PS. It does get a little cold - but you can always dress for it.

beprepn - originally, I was planning to apply to Berkeley and Michigan as well, given the strength of their undergrad business programs. What held me back was that both unis requested that I submit scores from the new SAT, which I didn't have time to take during my senior year. Now that I'm in the army, time has become even more of a problem, so they've become no-gos.

habdragon08 - I'm not applying for financial aid, so hopefully I get a better chance.

batman32c, thanks for the evaluation. you've been quite reassuring! :)
