Colleges:
I’ve pretty much really liked BU and really want to apply ED there. Anyways, Can I can apply ED there and apply EA at NEU also?

I would say you are a shoe in. Your SAT scores (like many people) is a tad bit below what is typically seen (1850, which seems to be the “golden” score), but your ECs make up for it (and the fact that you are applying ED). I would get it higher anyways for better FA. I would even wait - I think you would get a better score if you took your time getting your SAT (and SAT IIs) up. You can probably get in BU regular decision and have better chances at higher financial aid, something that you are going to want.

Of course that really just means you get a month or two extra time. SO if you really think you did everything you can on the SATs, then just go ED - but judging on your GPA, id say you can def. do better. Good luck man.

Thanks for the reply. According to BU’s ED website, they accept (up to) Nov SAT scores, and (up to) October ACT scores, so I’ve decided to quickly retake both to boost my grades.

Taking the ACTs on Sept 12th, and taking the SATs on October 10th

bump, anyone else?

I think that you have a good chance. As others said before me, you have great EC’s and a nice courseload and your standarized tests seem to be your weakness. Try to raise your SAT’s to a 1900 and you will have an excellent chance =]
