I am an in-state.

Bump…anyone please:)

I’d say your chances of getting in are REALLY low because your W GPA is just not up to par. Most kids applying to UVA have a 4.01-4.3 W GPA, and some of them don’t even get in. I’d say there’s like maybe a 15% chance you’d get in. Prob. waitlisted and if you’re lucky you’ll get in.

Sorry to be harsh.

I’d say it’s a toss up. Your freshman year is what hurts you the most, but other than that, everything looks fine. If I had to guess, I’d say you have a 55% chance.

I know a girl who got waitlisted at UVA(soon was accepted) and her application was amazing! It takes to show how prestigious univerities are getting now. I hope you luck though, really focus on your grades your senior year.

Being instate makes a HUGE difference.

Yup IS here:)

if your weighted GPA equates to your unweighted, then you have a great chance. if not, that will be the deciding factor.

you can calculate your unweighted GPA yourself. add all your class grades together, and divide by the number of classes. unweighted is universal.

A+ = 4.3
A = 4.0
A- = 3.7 (ignore the minuses if your school doesn’t do that)
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
B- = 2.7
…and so on

other than your GPA, everything looks great! good luck!

the upward trend in your gpa is definitely good, but I don’t know if it’s good enough. you should apply to some more schools.

The GPA looks alright, frosh grades probably wont be held against you. However, your SAT scores are not high enough to help you out. You’ll need to submit a great application - make the most of your XCs!

I think you’ll get in. Just sayin’. 2120 is solid. Grades are movin’ up. Chances of getting in are higher depending on the school (higher if e school).
