I plan on applying to Haverford College, Case Western Reserve University, UW-Madison, University of Michigan, UIUC, Vanderbilt University, WashU. What are some of my chances at these schools.
I’m currently a junior in high school.
My weighted GPA is a 4.63 and my unweighted GPA is around a 3.85.

As a senior (class of 2021) that received admission to Vandy, CWRU, and WashU (I didn’t apply to the other colleges you listed), I guess I can spill some advice that might be useful. I’m just going to speak for Vandy and WashU since they are similar in many areas and seem like reaches.
Right off the bat, Vandy and WashU are looking for people with really high stats. Your gpa should be fine although it might help to raise it up, and you really need to improve your ACT score. The score that will most likely save you would be a 34 bare minimum. Although there have been cases where students have gained admission with a lower score, you really need to pad your stats to be competitive.
One SATII test will NOT make the cut. People who apply to these schools send in as many as 5 subject tests (I sent in 3 myself but all my friends sent in more than 4).
It seems like you are really involved in sports – I highly recommend that you make a mixtape of all your highlights if you plan on playing in college or if you want to show your talents and abilities.
Your ECs are kind of lacking – you really need to amp up on those. Add some more community service, win more awards, gain more recognition for accomplished feats, or win a major event or such. Vandy and WashU really look at the candidate holistically; you really need to add more things to your resume.
From my perspective, I think you can get into UMichigan, but Vanderbilt and WashU really are far reaches as of now. First step to take is to improve your test scores, then build up your resume to your maximum potential. Hope this helps.
For UMich LSA, your GPA is right below admission average while your ACT is around admission average. You are likely among average applicants with an admission chance around 20% from OOS.
Your score is good for several of those colleges, but could do with a bump if you can make that happen.
Do you need six APs next year? That is going to be tough, and it will be hard to get top grades with six APs. The general consensus is that 7 give or take is a good number. If evryone at your school takes ten, then that factors in, but I see no reason for yiu to take six next year, unless your school does some on a semester basis. What is your safety school? None of those are super easy to get into. Wash U and Vandy are high reaches. I think the rest are matches or high matches, unless you are instate? Then maybe. I think you need a true safety.
^ That is different. For instance, engineering school may look for the highest Math section score but not all section scores. UMich is one of the schools like that and they do not supersocre. OP did not specify the section scores for which sections…
