Am I considered a int'l applicant?

I was born in Japan, moved to the states at age 5. Went K-12 in the states, and undergrad in the states. If I go to grad school in Japan (2013 graduation) and I am going to apply for law school in the US, would I be considered an international applicant?

Keep in mind that I am a Japanese citizen and a US permanent resident. My green card expires in 2014, but I would have lived in Japan for 2 years (no US address) when I apply to law school.

If I'm considered an international applicant, does that put me at a significant disadvantage? Would it be better for me to move back to the states THEn apply to law school?

If you have a green card at the time of your application, you are not an international.
In addition, there will be no disadvantage even though you are an internatioinal at that time.
