Am I crazy...?

Okay, so here's what's going on.

I didn't outline this chapter in Pageant like I was supposed to this past school week (laziness got the best of me), and the outline is due on Tuesday. We have a quiz on this chapter tomorrow.

I was thinking of outlining the whole chapter in one night tonight. Is this a good idea?

EDIT: My teacher allows us to use outlines during quizzes.

Go for it. I’m outlining a Euro chapter now, so I can commiserate! Good luck

A lot of these outlines are already pre-made and out in the internet fyi.

And I don’t think this is a good idea. You’ll be so focused on outlining that everything will go in through your head, out on your paper, and then promptly forgotten.

I would try to read the chapter (supplemented by any outlines you can find) and get the quiz down first. Then outline on Monday.

It’s your choice, but this is how I would personally approach it.

Well actually writing it out helps you remember it better. But personally, since it’s a quiz, I wouldn’t bother outlining. I would if it was a test though.

It helps more to remember stuff if you outline

Ive outlined 600 pages of the Euro textbook

My study guide is like 100 pages. Not kidding.

Is that something to be proud of…

Eh, to each his own then.

I also remember more by outlining, but it is way too time consuming for a quiz. On the rare occasions that I do decide to study, I just speed-read, highlight, and jot down some key ideas.

But our teacher structures our homework such that virtually no studying is needed, so I’m probably not the expert on this topic.

I don’t take notes.

I read the textbook and buy review books.

Great, guys.

I might be screwed…he usually makes us turn in our reading notes on the day that we have quizzes (e.g., today), and I mistakenly thought that he was gonna have them due on the day of our exam (tomorrow). Gah, I just love life.
