Am I doing the right thing? Choosing CMU over JHU for engineering?

<p>Any idea? Am I doing the right thing? Is it a wise choice or a mistake?Choosing CMU mechanical engineering over Hopkins.</p>

<p>Hopkins will give you a much wider range of students and areas of interest but CMU is fine too. Depends what you want...</p>

<p>CMU is very well respected in the Engineering world.</p>

<p>With the exception of bioengineering majors (such as BME or Chem BE), JHU really isn't that well-known for engineering. CMU seems to be more respectedd for its engineering school.</p>

<p>I have had a great experience doing MechE at JHU and you will for sure have a great deal of opportunity coming out of here.</p>

<p>If you're serious about doing MechE, CMU is the way to go. This is coming from a JHU student</p>
