im a week or so from my enrollment window. but just to make sure i have the right idea, would a schedule like this:
english / seminar
math 103
o chem? i think chem 151l
foreign language

be about right?
im thinking of doing med tract and possibly bio or biochem major. for math 103, im sort of confused because the course book says for math you need math 25l, 26l, or math 31l, 23/23l, or math 41. and math 103 seems to be more advanced than all of these.

also, i dunno maybe i want to switch to bme? such a mess. then i have egr classes right? is 4 classes too little? is chem 151L just a lecture class? is there a lab class i have to add too?

103 is intermediate calculus, which, correct me if i'm wrong, is basically the first semester of multivariable calculus. In order to take it you must have already taken those courses or have scored a 4/5 on AP Calc BC.

Chem 151 I believe meets MWF in addition to 1 lab class a week and you need a 4/5 on AP Chem.

Personally I wouldn't take both of those classes in the same semester from what I have heard about them, especially your first semester at college. Don't you want to have fun too? I'm planning on taking Chem 151 first semester and 103 second semester because I also plan on having a social life. But that's just me :)

Fizz, that means you'll be taking 152 and 103 at the same time, which is probably a lot harder.

Yeah but it also won't be first semester of freshman year.

its doable in 1st semester if you have easy other courses

Yet, to play devil's advocate, Spring is also basketball season. One of the most important things I learned in my freshman year in terms of making my life easier is to schedule my harder classes in the fall when I'm NOT obsessed with basketball. It really sucks trying to tackle Calculus in a freezing tent with 11 other people. And if you aren't obsessed now, don't assume that that means you won't be in 6 months. I was always the girl who hated anything athletic, and it still affected me...in fact, I was in one of the top 10 tents.
