Hi everyone im going to be at UCLA fall quarter 2008 as an EAP student from New Zealand.

I will only be in LA for 1 quarter and will be taking Econ 101A, 101B, 106F, and another Eco paper. (im not sure if there the right paper numbers:Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Intro to Finance, Internation Economics. I am 2nd year)

I am doing this exchange for the fun, and to meet people and the boost to my CV is a added bonus. Do you think that i have too many papers in one quarter to enjoy myself?

Any opinions would be great

Cheers guys

dude i dont know but i am also a tranfer student ill be staying at the hitch suite you

Ill be staying at Rieber Terrace - I got a single :D. What are u studying? Where are you from?

No clue about how rigorous your school is in New Zealand but perhaps you should consider taking one class Pass/No Pass if you’re adamant about taking 4 upper-division Economics courses? That sounds like a LOT of work - most students take about 3 courses per quarter. You can always take four classes at the start of fall quarter and drop one class by the 4th week or 2nd week depending on whether or not the class is impacted - this is just up to you to figure out your personal balance for work/play.
