I am a sophomore in high school. As the semester grades are rounding out I have an 89. Does having this B ruin my chances of getting into the Ivy League?

Grades:
96- algebra 2 pre-ap
99- french 3 pre-ap
97 AP art history
100 AP world history
89 pre-AP geometry
98 pre-AP chemistry
91 pre-AP English
My school doesn’t give GPA and class rank for sophomores till 2nd semester. Last year for end of year I had all A’s.

No, one B will not ruin your chances.

I think most schools are looking for well rounded students that will bring something to contribute to their community. A B won’t ruin your chance but keep in mind that each of these schools are very difficult to get into even with perfect grades and scores.
