Due to competition conflicts, I couldn't take the SAT until this month. My score break down is:
CR- 690 Math-800 Writting-760
Would my low CR score hamper my chance of getting into Stanford EA? I have only been to the U.S for 5 years if that helps. :(

I think you're fine. I really dislike it when people go "OMG! I'm doomed!!! My life is ruined!"

Wow, these are great scores especially considering that this was the first time you took the SAT and that you have only been in the US for five years. Truly awesome. Any other college and I would say you're done. But Stanford is one of, if not the, most competitive colleges in America. Remember, they will take your highest scores. So your M - 800 and W - 760 are set. Yes, it would be a plus to score above 700 on CR. My best advice is take the SAT in October and focus on learning level 4 and 5 vocabulary.

That's awesome if you've been in the US for only 5 years. Remember to include that in your college apps. Some who've been here their entire lives and/or born here can't even get 690 CR, let alone 760 W. Nevertheless, Stanford is a top school whose CR average is probably higher than your 690. You still have a couple of months to study for your Oct. SAT. Good luck!

But it does kind of depend on what country you were in before you came into the US. For example, if you came to the US from England...

I think your Math and Writing are fine. You just need to study to do better on the CR. Good luck.
Where are you from?

You could take it again, but I don't think you're doomed; a 2250 is really good...

Oh, please!

2250?!?!?!...your doomed man, anything lower than a 2600 = fail might as well throw your life away...dude you kidding me lol i would seriously die for your score!

I come from rural Vietnam (not England)) without knowing a single word in English.
I still haven't taken the SAT 2 so I need to do that in October. Will doing good on the SAT 2 increase my chance of admission? (I am taking Math II, Chemistry and Physics. Potential major: Physics, Math, or Engineering)
I have to submit this score for EA and retake the SAT in Nov for RD.
Thank you, all. That was comforting. Sorry, I know I am being a little paranoid, but I am a first generation college student so I need to lend some advices to sort things out.

One last question: May I summit my Nov or Dec score for Regular Decision after they have rejected me for EA ? Hearing that CR weights more than Writing and even Math, I am just a little hesitated to apply EA.
