Am i Fcked??

Ok....I'm a freshmen and I will be transferring to a cc in spring 2011. None of my credits from my previous college will be accepted and i have to start all over again. Can i transfer from a cc to a UC in 1 1/2 years?? Can i just take a lot of summer courses to make up for the lost semester? I am a engineering major is that helps any.

Your question(s) are too broad for anyone to answer. Why are the credits from your previous college not going to count for transferring? They should count, unless you are not filing that you attended a previous college; which is illegal or against the rules anyway.
No one can predict whether you can transfer in 1 and 1/2 years or not but yourself, for the simple fact that we are not you. You may have a different work ethic than me or anyone else here, so its impossible to predict. Moreover, Engineering is a pre-req heavy major and the time spent at cc will come down to what math you placed into.

As long as you apply for fall admission, I don’t see why not. In a year in half you should have most of you’re prereqs done (if you do summer school and take 15+ units every semester). LIke he said above tho, most engineering majors are prereq heavy so don’t expect to finish all of them (esp for chem engineering since you have to do all math, physics, programming, and o-chem). But transferring should be no problem assuming you can maintain a solid gpa.
