Am I fulfilling my VPA requirement?

Hi everyone!
I know this is the UCB forum, but because Berkeley is a UC; I think you guys could help me.
So, first semester of freshman year, I took photography (UC VPA approved) and passed, but then I had transferred to another high school and my counselor for some reason didn't put me in photography second semester. At the time I didn't know that this could affect me. So, it turns out that I need a whole year of the same VPA in order to have that requirement filled? Anyways, at my high school, you can either take a semester of drama during summer-school or be in plays and get 2.5 credits per play (UC approved). Will I fill this 10 credit requirement by doing 5 in photography my freshman year and 5 in either Drama summer school or by doing two plays next year (Junior year)?

Thanks so much for your responses, I hope you have a wonderful day.
