Am I getting rescinded?

I am currently enrolled for Cornell University. Recently I received an email saying that they wish to "discuss [my] record and report back for further consideration of your candidacy." May anyone please explain to me what this mean?

I maintained decent grades, but barely made it in to Cornell with a 3.6 and a lot of extracurriculars.

However I got a C in Calculus BC AP in the second semester of my senior year, but I also got a 5 on the AP test, which I plan to send due to my realization that I haven't sent it before.

Am I getting rescinded??

Isn’t it a bit late for them to rescind you?

That’s what I was wondering too. For some reason my high school never sent my transcript so I had to personally go in there and figure everything out about a week ago and make sure they sent it, and I also know someone else from my school who had to do the same thing.

To be honest, there is a small chance that they’ll actually rescind your offer of admission. They may put you on academic probation however.

Even if I got a 5 on the AP test? And explain to them my challenges in the class? Cause they asked for an appointment, so I believe I may be able to explain my situation and I don’t see why they’re asking for an appointment just to rescind me

Best of luck to you but seeking counsel here should be the least of your concerns. I’d telephone immediately whomever sent you that email. Like 9AM.

Agree with T26E4. You should also involve your HS college counselor, who can help you quickly fax whatever documents will support your case.

Call whoever sent you the email immediately.
