<p>Key club (11-Co-president, 12-Co-president) Provide supportive leadership for the club, preside and conduct bi-monthly meetings, train and educate the club, Select committee chairmen and make special appointments, perform acts of service in the community.</p>

<p>Lyceum-Philosophy Club (9, 10, 11, 12-President). Delegates and maintains the autonomy of the other respective officer position’s obligations. Sets purpose and vision for the club. Oversees other officer’s duties. Plays as moderator in every meeting. Maintains the stability of the club and aims the club towards a positive direction.</p>

<p>National Honor Society (11,12). Attend monthly meetings and discuss ways to improve the school and plan service events.</p>

<p>Mu-Alpha-Theta (math honor society) (9,10,11,12). Attend bi-monthly meetings. Attend tournament practices 3 times a month for 3 hours. Attend 4 tournaments a year.</p>

<p>Varsity Tennis(9,10-(#4 starting),11-(#3 starting) ,12). Assist coach in managing the team including team warm-ups and after practice clean-up. Motivate teammates to do their best on and off the court</p>

<p>Key Club (11,12) Plan and organize various service events such as:
-School supply Drive- host a drive to collect new or gently used supplies at the beginning and end of each school year.

<p>Work Experience:</p>

<p>-Riverside Animal Hospital (10-11). Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, walking and
handling animals for doctors and technicians. Summer, 40 hours/week.
-Mathnasium Learning Center (11-12) Tutor students in math subjects (Grades 1-12) up to
Calculus, Work closely with students to help them achieve their goals, Communicate progress with
parents. Summer (12 hours/week), school year (20 hours/week)
-Freelance tutor (9,10,11,12)- tutor and mentor students in all academic Disciplines
10hours/week</p>

<p>Clearly you have the stats and EC’s to get into UF. Since you’re in-state, you’re likely not be awarded a UF merit scholarships (these are very rare, vs. a needs based award), but you should apply for several.</p>

<p>How did you squeeze all of the above into your schedule? You have the Learning Center (20 hours/week) plus Freelance tutoring (10 hours/week), volunteering, clubs and sports. Crazy ^:)^</p>
