Am I good enough for Binghamton/Stony Brook/Albany/Syracuse

-3.43 GPA with 30 credits
-96.23 HS weighted average, top 20%
-1150 SAT score (640 math, 510 english)
-28 ACT score (30 math, 26 english)
-Activities: Volunteer Firefighter, Key Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Skills USA State Champion, Stage Crew, Robotics, School Bowling Team

what school are you transferring from?

I live in New York and know 10+ kids at each school (in fact, BF is at Albany and Sister is at Syracuse, among others) so I can give a pretty accurate chance (well, as far as chances can go. lol).

Binghamton- high match/low reach. They are very into numerical stats (SATs, GPA, etc.) so your unweighted GPA could be a little iffy but honestly you have a pretty good shot.

Stony Brook- Are you applying for science? They are kinda competitive for science so that would be a low reach/high match, but if not for science it’s a definite match.

Albany: Match

Syracuse: High match

I don’t want to say anything for certain, but you have an almost 100% shot to get into at least 1 or 2 of these schools. Good luck! These are all great schools and I think you would do very well at them!

Other schools to consider (assuming you wish to only apply to NY): University of Rochester, Union College, University of Ithica
