I am currently a junior and I hope to be able to run xc and track in college. I am more looking into DIII schools because I don't think I am good enough for DI or DII. My times are: 5k (XC) is a little over 17:00, mile (track) is about 5:00. Considering that I hope to improve, at least slightly, in my remaining time at high school, am I good enough to run at a good DIII college?

Here are 2012 T&F championship results for the NESCAC colleges:

(Times for the men’s 1500M run are 4:34 or less; times for the men’s 5K are under 17:00)

NESCAC is a DIII league of very selective liberal arts colleges in the Northeast.
