Am I good enough?

Okay so I'm the typical senior whose freaking out over college. I am absolutely in love with NYU but I don't know if I'm good enough tog et in. My GPA is good enough but my SAT scores are not so I'm taking the ACT to see if I can score better on that. Here are my stats:

Unweighed GPA: 95 (4.0)
Weighed: 102. 99

SAT Score: 1740 (1150/1600)

AP World History- 3
AP Language and Composition- 4
AP US History- 4
AP Psychology- 5

I'm taking AP Chem, AP Calc, AP Lit, and College French this year and I've always taken honors classes my entire high school career.
I'm a member and the treasurer of National Honor Society, Vice President of French Club, treasurer of Key Club, member of Environmental Club, French Honor Society, Peer Leader, and I play Badminton. Outside of school, I do a lot of volunteer work (walks and I volunteer at a nursing home). I also have a part-time job and I tutor. I would really love to go to NYU and I know my SAT scores are not going to cut it so I'm aiming for at least a 28 on the ACT and I've gotten 27's on practice tests so I hope I can pull it out. Do you think I have a good chance at it?

Which NYU school? 28 isn’t going to be good enough for most of the schools. Aim for a 30 or higher. If you devote all your spare time to test prep from now until December, you can raise your SAT score by a few hundred points (I’ve done this). Good luck!

Edit: what is this? college confidential is breaking down on me
