Am I good enough?

So Yale is my top choice, and I was wondering if I had any shot at all!

SAT: 800 M, 750 CR, 710 W
SAT II: Chemistry: 750, Spanish: 800, French: 800, Modern Hebrew:700
AP: Spanish (5), French (5), English Language (5), Environmental Science (5), Statistics (5), Biology (3)

Extracurriculars: study languages, science olympiad (first place state medal), cello (in prestigious orchestra), school paper (editor), NHS president

Ethnicity: White
Sex: Female
State: Pennsylvania

Sorry I forgot, my GPA is 4.0 and my class rank is 1/150

string: I know it’s unnerving but do you honestly wonder if you have any chance at all? really?

Sure, no one should feel confident but to feel that your profile has little to no chance – begs me to question your analytical skills.

you’re in the ballpark. OK?

Now it’s up to the intangibles.

Just based on your scores, Im assuming you can write an essay. So, theres admissions essays down pat. Lets hope youre not a b**ch so your teacher recs are as stellar as the rest of your application is sure to be. People have gotten into Yale with much less and a little more (maybe like… 20 extra points on the SAT or something… you clearly are in the upper echelons of academia)

And, like T2E64 said… All anyone can tell you is that you are in fact a qualified applicant. but, like they said as well… with your stats, WHY are you posting a chance thread on CC? It is clear you are qualified, and if you dont think you are that is a major issue you need to deal with.
