Thanks everyone, I have already sent in my Part one application and I already can't wait for college. I haven't even started my senior year yet!

because you're oos, usc may be a good choice for you if you want to study in california. public schools will cost almost the same, and usc gives better aid/scholarships. as someone already stated, usc's yield was unusually high this year, with about 2,900 students committing for ~ 2,500 spaces. this will make admission more difficult next year on top of the growing number of applicants. with that said, it would be good to have some safeties and backups just in case because college admissions can be unpredictable...many people i know were shocked this year when they got rejected from many of their matches.

also, usc is the greatest university in existence. i'm a little biased (brainwashed?) because i just went to orientation, but still :)

Thanks AzNChoiBoi08, my safeties are U of Oklahoma and OKC U.

I'm also applying to HYPS, Penn, UT, UMich, UCLA, and maybe UC Berkeley.

The ivies and stanford are going to be a huge reach for me, but I would LOVE to attend USC over the other schools.

How prestigious is the IR/global business program?

i'm going to guess it is pretty well respected. i've heard their IR program is very good, and their marshall school of business (where i would think you'd be taking some of your classes) is highly respected on the west coast. these are only speculations, however, so you might want to find out more. plus, being part of the trojan family will give you great connections that could be useful in that field.
