So, what do you guys think? What should I do/not do to stay on track/get on track over the next two years so I can make it to the schools I want to go to?

Thanks!

Looks good so far. =) I’d suggest looking up some “safety” schools just because the schools you listed are known to reject people even with stats as good as yours are, but don’t let that discourage you. It’s just a precaution. Just continue doing what you’re doing and make sure to establish a nice hook that would help you stand out from all of the other very qualified applicants to those schools. (I’d say to really get involved in film club since that’s a pretty different thing on your resume so far. Make student films and send them to festivals or something.)

NCSU should be a safety; try Tulane as well… you’d probably get a half-ride in merit aid there.

UNC: Low match/Match (just because you’re in-state)
Duke: Reach
UPenn: Reach
Yale: Reach
Harvard: Reach
Cornell: High match
American: Safety
GWU: Match (did you demonstrate interest?)
