Look to be in competitive posture! I see no red flags. Good and strong balance. Well done so far. Keep at it.

While the USNA admission climb is chronically steep for all candidates, yours may be particularly demanding as a Maryland resident. Tons of top shelf competitors! Don’t flinch.

Work your tail off for the ensuing 2-3 weeks to get yourself in best physical shape possible, and knock out the pt @ NASS, along with making a positive impression upon your detailer.

And always make sure you’ve acceptable alternate plans that will satisfy. W/ your record, they should be good and plentiful.

Thank you so much for your response. I sincerely appreciate it.

Raise your math SAT score.

Yes, if you can. Also, consider taking ACT. For achieving students it is often a “better” test, providing stronger results.

Yea ACT can help. I got a better math score on it but the science dropped my composite. Is it true they only look at math or English?

Yes, that’s true. They do not look @ science, reading, composites. Only math and verbal. So, a 36 ACT composite, just like a 2400 SAT, are terrific and reflect the sub scores. But USNA does not consider either of those. Only the 2 parts. And as you prbly know, they will take the highest score of each on various tests and testing dates.

go for it and best of luck!

Don’t forget to contact your BGO- now would be a good time!

It is much more difficult to get into the Naval Academy in Maryland than in almost any other state. You probably need to raise your SAT score at least 50 points (they like a higher math score, but my verbal was higher so take that as you may). The exception would be if one of your parents retired from the military and you are qualified for a Presidential nomination. Then you wouldn’t have to go through Maryland for your nomination, that, or you’re a recruited athlete. I will say that being female may work slightly in your favor (being female I can say this), but like I said, the Maryland factor may cancel that out. They may opt to give you a prep school spot if you don’t get in straight away. If you are serious about going to the Naval Academy go for it. They pay you like 900 dollars a month and you have much more freedom than at the actual academy.

I was just going to post that about being in a state that is over represented for USNA candidates might be tougher. You will be competing in a much bigger pool that in some other states where the USNA is not in our backyard and many of my son’s friends thought more about the Air Force Academy because it is closer to us. But, don’t give up if that is your dream. You look like a really well rounded potential candidate. Best wishes to you!
