Am I insane?

<p>Beep Beep Beep Beep... Clank, crash, booom! (It's Tuesday, so it's probably just the garbage truck.) It's 6 am (on the west coast). It's New Year's Day! I open my eyes, and I am surprised that I feel completely awake... and for strange reason, I suddenly decide: "I DO want to apply to Johns Hopkins!" (I suspect the melodious sound of the dumpster hitting the concrete must of been my inspiration.) </p>

<p>Anyway, now it's 7 am. I have exactly 17 more hours to frantically finish the JHU supplement. </p>

<p>So, my question is: am I completely out of my mind?!</p>

<p>No your not. There likely is a reason you woke up with this desire, GO FOR IT! Its a new year and it is a time to tackle and try new things, what do you have to lose? Sometimes things that happen in the 9th hour actually end up working out better than if you had planned this 6 months ago. So get busy and good luck.</p>

<p>There’s only a “What’s your major?” essay that I haven’t started either, so you’re not crazy at all!</p>

<p>I think I have just set a new world record for finishing a college application!</p>
