Am I involved in enough extracurriculars, leadership positions, and activities?

I've been playing the piano for 9 years. I've been in 4H for 6 years. I've been in Mock Trial for 2 years. I've been in GSA for 2 years. I plan to be in Speech this year and start a Young Democrats Club. I'm a sophomore, fyi. I've been to the 4H state performing arts contest twice. I've been a 4H club secretary for a year, a 4H club historian for a year, a 4H camp counselor once, and a 4H county ambassador for a year. I'm on my city's library board as one of two youth representatives and I'm also on the Teen advisory board for the library. This year I'm going to volunteer with a mental health initiative in town and at the town's food shelf. Do I do enough? I really wanna go to Stanford and I feel like I don't do close to what I should.

Wow those are amazing extracurruculars for Stanford. Outstanding leadership positons. Try to get a lot of community service hours like about 200 or more and try doing a sport or something so that you can be even more well rounded. Explore some math/science related clubs if you like that area. Try getting as many distinctions and awards for example music or sports. Its also about how much time you spend on the activity and if you really comtributed by earning awards and honors. Leadership, dedication, and diversity is what colleges are looking for.

@Purple205‌ sorry, but no, OP should not add a sport to be “well rounded”. Colleges are not looking for well-rounded students per se as much as a well-rounded class. Quality over quantity for ECs. And there are no set number of community service hours you need. Community service is just like any other EC.

OP, keep doing what you’re doing. If you find something you’re very interested in, join, but don’t join things just to help your application, it won’t.

Ivy League is stricter about ecs than other state schools and public univ. If you really want to go to Stanford, you should try getting into some more ecs that you enjoy you have enough tho. There’s more to apps than ec but I’m just saying for Ivys they really want strong ecs, essay, sat 2000+, gpa, etc. everything.
