Just wanted to know if you think I could get into any Ivy leagues. I would love to have an Ivy League as an option, I am considering applying to Cornell the most and giving up on any hopes of attending Wharton.

Please be brutally honest if necessary, I hate people who are afraid to tell me no or just the obvious.

As of right now, you’re not Ivy League material because of your low SAT scores. I am glad that you are taking the ACT instead because who knows you might score drastically well. Make sure that you have your teachers write amazing letter of recommendations.

Thanks for the feedback! 2 people at my school who are around my rank got 1100s on the SAT but then pulled off a 30 on the ACT, so I’m hoping I can do the same. It’s just hard to make time for it all!

Do you think a 30 would be good enough? I know it’s not amazing but would it be kind of neutral rather than my 1200 SAT that seems to be only hurting me at top tier schools.

I honestly think 32 would be so much better. Its roughly 1400-1430 (taken from the ACT website), so a 2100+ would be much better in those competitive colleges. Everything else that crobelo7 wrote applies. Good luck!
