What are some good places I'd have a chance at scholarships?

Thanks guys! You are the experts!
~Elaina~

Well you have a good shot at a whole bunch of schools, but some schools that gave out money to current seniors at my schools with similar stats are:
Emory University (got a full ride), Tulane (got a lot of money), American University (got ~$25,000), George Washington University (not sure how much), Vanderbilt University (one of their special scholarships, not sure which one, they have a bunch: ingram, chancellors, etc.), USC (presidential or trustee, something like that), Wake Forest (full ride), Georgia Tech (a lot), Boston University (trustee scholarship, full ride I think), U Florida, South Carolina, Catholic University of America.

BTW, these are all merit-based. From what you've mentioned, It seems like you would qualify for a lot of financial aid, which schools offer to anyone in need who is accepted (doesn't matter if your the best or worst of the admitees). I hope this helped...Good Luck!

thanks! are you sure I've got similar stats? lol those are some heafty scholarships you listed!

Emory, USC, BU, will only give very few full rides or full tuition, and to compete for those (not guaranteed), you would need top 3-5%, 2300+. However, with your stats you should get merit money from a lot of places, just not the very top end schools. (Example - I didn't get merit money from BU w/ 3.74, 2160 sat/ 33ACT.) But, they gave me way over my EFC in need-based aid. Again with my stats, I got $10k from Fordham, but no money from Lehigh. I got no money from Emory either, since I didn't do Emory scholars application, but looking at others' stats here, it seems like you need about a 3.9, 2250 to get a lower end scholarship from there. (Few k's)

what are some schools I WOULD get money from...not top schools but which others?

Look at all schools you are interested in, if your SAT is well above their 75th percentile, and your gpa/class rank are above their average, you will get money. (They higher up your stats = more money most likely.)

What about for these schools? If I list them, could you give me an estimate if I would/or would not get merit aid?

~ Univ. of Delaware
~ American University
~ Ohio University, Athens
~ Miami University, Ohio
~ Univ. of Pittsburgh
~ Tulane University
~ Vanderbilt University
~ East Carolina University
~ Clemson University
~ Emory University
~ Ithaca College
~ Cornell University
~ Notre Dame
~ Xavier University (OH)

Thanks!!

Delaware-yes, medium
American- yes, medium
Ohio- yes, medium
Miami- yes, small
Pitt- yes, small
Tulane- yes, small
Vanderbilt- maybe
East Carolina- probably
Emory- maybe
Ithaca- i don't know
Cornell- you need to get in
Notre Dame- maybe
Xavier- yes, medium

all rough estimates

You wouldn't get any merit aid from Notre Dame, because they don't award merit scholarships. They use all of their money for financial aid, and from what I've heard, are pretty generous, if you need it.

Delaware-yes
American- yes
Ohio- yes
Miami- some
Pitt- some
Tulane- some
Vanderbilt- unlikely
East Carolina- maybe
Emory- unlikely
Ithaca- some
Cornell- no merit aid
Notre Dame- no merit aid
Xavier- yes

Thanks guys! What are some schools you could suggest where I would get good (large amounts) of aid? What schools would appreciate a 4.0, 1370, and solid leadership ECs (and reward with money!)

Bowling Green, you'd get a full ride
