Am I missing a good school that would fit me?

Yes, RIT (Rochester, NY) wants women interested in engineering major, they need women, just ask the men!

Definitely look at Clemson. The town revolves around the university, we have great school spirit, ACC athletics (whatever that means for you haha) and we have a great engineering program and business is relatively strong as well!

Let me know if you have any questions since I’m a student there (I’m from Belmont, MA)

You might consider NC State University. It’s a large univ. in Raleigh, the capital of NC and home to four colleges…lots of young people.
Engineering and Business are two of the largest majors on campus. NCSU is also in the Atlantic Coast conference so sports are big. There is a large airport nearby so transportation is not a problem.

I am from Massachusetts and I will need financial aid for sure but my parents said to apply to schools which I liked and worry about how much they cost once I find out where I can actually go

I’m sorry, but that is very naive advice that your parents gave you UNLESS they are prepared to pay if none of your choices give you much/any aid.

What would they do if you were accepted to - say 3 or4 of your schools, but NONE gave you any financial aid?

I’m guessing that you’re the first child in the family to go to college, because if you had older siblings recently go to college, they would know that that strategy is not a good one (if financial aid is needed.)

Thank you for the advice. I will look into those schools.
You are right about my parents because I am the first to go to college so it is difficult for them. We will figure it out. I am applying to many state schools incase I do not receive the money necessary at a private university.

University of Toronto.
