<p>So, in my AP Government class..
There was this girl who had skipped 2 weeks of class (yep..two weeks - one was in-state testing for underclassmen and the other way just a personal vacation I guess) and, as such, the teacher had administered a separate test to her whereas he had let the half of the class attending use notes on the original test.
She was outraged. She promptly said, "Why can't we use notes? This is unfair!! <em>pout</em>" and that would cue my  from the other side of the room. I digress.
She then said to the teacher, "Why don't you let us use our notes? Is it honestly your goal in life to be such a big A**HOLE (pardon the language)?? You are such a PRICK!"
and the teacher did nothing. He just laughed.
She kept on going...
I was like...uhh dude, are you going to send her out or something? Eventually she brought me into it as "one of the only people who does work in this class anyways (sic)". She then got the test back the next day and asked, seriously, if said teacher had used the wrong answer key.
Anyhow, was I in the Stone Ages to be offended? How are things like this treated in your school? Referrals? Detention? I kinda don't get it.</p>
