You have as good of a shot as any average applicant… It could go either way. On the plus side, the fact that you’re low income and have such high SAT’s is pretty impressive, so maybe that’d help? (And I’m not sure on how much weight first gen in america has, or whether it even has a weight at all in admissions)

My only advice to you is keep up the good work and apply ED/EA to your top choice… (which seems to be Harvard)

Good luck! :)

Harvard does not have early admissions.

You seem like a more-than-solid applicant for a place like UofM, a middle-of-the-pack applicant for the other places you listed. It’s possible you’ll get in, but you sure as hell better prepare for not doing so, because Harvard rejects on the order of 94% of its applicants. It’s just that brutal

@IBfootballer Actually, Harvard does offer early admissions… They offer SCEA. They started it back this year.

As an ORM from an overrepresented state, other than UM, these schools will be tough. Expand your list with more match and safety schools.

UM is not a good school for you - they don’t meet need for OOS applicants. If your family income is low, there’s no way you’ll be able to afford 50k a year fees.

Thanks for all the input guys! Ill certainly take it into account. One more thing, do u think it would help with Harvard Admission if I can get a letter of recommendation from the HARVARD DEAN FROM THE BUSINESS GRADUATE SCHOOL? Also, do u think it would help with Columbia admissions if I get a Letter of Recommendation from my UMDNJ internship advisor who was a Columbia Alumni?
