<p>I took a SAT prep class in my area (called Elite). I thought it helped me with the reasoning process more than anything, since my “ability to reason” is flawed according to collegeboard. Don’t try to cram though. I studied 2500ish words over the course of those 4 months and NONE of the words were on my SAT. I personally think I already had the intelligence, just not the conformed ability to reason the same way as people at college-board</p>
<p>I personally want to go to UCB too (but they are really random b/c my asian friend with a 17xx on SAT, and no AP’s until senior year, with moderate EC got in, while my hard-core friends didn’t.) I just don’t like their 7-course program where they force students to take liberal arts classes (my weakspot and b/c I want to do a dual-major).</p>
<p>What’s your major? It can decently influence acceptance.</p>
