Am I on the right track for ED?

<p>I am rising senior from Virginia (NOVA):</p>

<p>projected UW: 3.57
projected W: 4.0-4.1
* note about GPA: my grades have had a significant upward trend: W GPA's-
9th: 3.8 10th: 4.2 (w/ 2 ap's) 11th: 4.47 (with 4 ap's)</p>

<h1>of Ap's: 6 (signed up for 6 more senior year), this is one of the more challenging courses in our school</h1>

<p>Grades is APs: AP World-A, AP Comp Sci- B+, AP US-A, AP Lang-A, AP Chem-B, Stat-A
SAT: 2020 super scored (670 CR, 720 M)
SAT US History: 780
SAT Math Level 2: 770
SAT Biology: 780
Significant EC's + Awards:
Founder and President of the History Honor Society
Member of NHS, Math Honor Society, and Science Honor Society
3rd Place Regional Science Fair
Internship with NASA (VASTS program)
2 month research in India in biotechnology (i will conduct my studies this summer and will apply for siemens)
Lots of hours community service at hospital</p>

<p>guys sooo do you think I would be competitive for Johns Hopkins ED????</p>

<p>btw quick questions:
1) My school's 1st semester grading period ends late January (but 1st quarter ends in late October/early December), and I really want to continue showing my grade improvement mainly bc I am signed up for 6 AP's next year and if I get good grades, i think they will make a good impression. so i was wondering if, johns Hopkins would even consider my senior year grades w/ my new 1st quarter grades added??
2) I cannot take the SAT until November due to personal reasons(getting a major surgery), so I was wondering if I apply ED but mention that I will have taken my SAT by November, will this have been valid or does Hopkins not consider my SAT scores then??</p>

<p>Oh and almost forgot: im applying to school of sciences. i want to major in biological sciences</p>

<p>your questions…1) they will look at your 1st quarter grades, you actually have to send them to jhu…2) i very highly doubt they’ll look at your november 2010 sat score, you’re stuck with that 2020.</p>

<p>overall, you seem like you’re on the right track, but unfortunately that sat score may not be high enough (a 630 on writing doesn’t look great for jhu). at this point, i’d say you have about a 30% chance of getting in. good luck though</p>
