[li] I am a dual enrollment student. When I graduate HS, I will also graduate with my associates of arts degree. I take challenging courses at the college, like stats and will be taking chem, and also take classes geared towards journalism. ie: Intro to mass communication, News Reporting, (& more to come). I was in my high schools journalism class my sophomore year even though it was supposed to be a jr/sr class, my English teacher recommended me to be in it. I am in the Journalism class at my college and help publish our news magazine and stories online each month. I was chosen to represent my school at a ILS (Illinois Leadership Seminars) and am still very involved with that organization. I will also be attending a Journalism and Media conference this summer in Washington D.C.[/li]Also I will graduate with honors from the college, and will be completing the honors program, and am also in the honors society TPK.
NYU has been my dream school since I was in 8th grade, let me know how my resume is looking and any help?

NYU is very expensive and have poor financial aid.
Your test scores are not at the level of their accepted students.

HOOKS: These are not what you decide and make up; it’s what the schools need/use as standard hooks.

Underrepresented minority students: (URM) African American/ Mexican American/ Registered Native American/ Pacific Islander
Recruited Athletes: top in the nation
Legacy: Parents graduated from the school
Celebrity Think Emma Watson, Malala
Large Donor can donate a wing or a lab

Get some safeties.

I auctually did make a mistake in my post-I got a 29 act but will be taking it again. What do you think would be a score to have a better chance??

@heyitsmaddiek getting above a 30 will definitely increase your chances
