Am I on the right track?

I would like to know if I am on the right track to go to a top school (Ivies, U of Chicago, UVA, Duke, etc.) I am still a freshman in high school, so I would like some suggestions as well if you all have any.

Sex: F

School: top public high school in PA, well-off area

Race: white

GPA: 4.0 unweighted

WGPA: n/a

Class Rank: n/a

Classes: I have all As and 95+% in every class.
Honors English 9
Honors American Civics(fall sem.)/ World Geography(spring sem.)
Honors Geometry
Honors Biology
Latin 1
Spanish 2
Health/Gym (obviously!)

Does it help significantly that I take 2 languages? I love both Spanish and Latin already, and I'd very much like to continue learning multiple languages. I'm considering taking an Italian course at the local community college as well.

ECs:
Field Hockey Team (JV team this year, played some Varsity time as well)
Law Club
Mock Trial Team
Yearbook Club

I'm considering playing softball in spring as well. Time is a bit of an issue, so is it worth it to play 2 sports?

Service:
2 hours monthly at local library (I know it's not much, but they have so many volunteers that they actually have to turn people away. Sad, right??)
2-3 hours weekly at a senior home

I initially did it for a service requirement, but I'm hooked. I truly enjoy working with the people there. I cannot keep away because I enjoy it so much = ). I volunteer there much more during the summer, about 5 days/week for 1-2 hours/day.

Awards/Honors:
Named "Best Team Player" by field hockey senior captains this past season
Named to Highest Honor Roll for 1st Quarter (haven't finished 2nd quarter yet)

Are there any awards/recognitions anyone recommends applying for?

Thank you. I very much appreciate advice from all of you who know much more about the process than I do.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

It seems like you are on the right track to me. Having all honors/aps could always your chances though.
If I were you, I would play softball, but if you decide not to, it shouldnt hurt your chances

You seem to be doing great. Just make sure to join some more clubs/activities. Hopefully in a few years you can gain some leadership opportunities.

Sounds great!

you’re on the right track, definitely. keep up with some ECs that will make you stand out in a crowd. the volunteering at the senior home is excellent, keep up your excellent grades as well.

Yes it is worth it to play 2 varsity sports. Keep at it and get high standardized test scores (not optional, necessary) and you will have a good shot.
