<p>Hello, I'm a freshie and lately my (science magnet) high school has been pressuring us to get competitive for college admissions. Due to these pressures and a tough time at home (let's just say it's a very tense environment), I've been trying to buckle down at school. I hope you guys can tell me whether I'm on the right track or not.</p>

Lately I've been going through any SAT books I can find and I've been doing pretty well on those questions so I'm probably going to get a 170+ but it's not guaranteed</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:

-I've been playing the piano since age 6, the ukelele since age 7, the glockenspiel since sometime in elementary school, the drums since age 11, the xylophone since sometime in elementary school, and will be learning to play some brass instruments this year
-I play the bells/glockenspiel in Marching Band (this takes up about 6-9 hours a week)
