Am I on the right track?

For college-wise, I really want to attend out-of-state, ivy league schools. Especially Columbia University in NYC. But any ivy league would do..

So this isn't really a "chance" thread, it's more of a "am I on track" thread.

Okay so I'm a sophomore.

My GPA: UW: 3.8333333..... W: 4.5
Rank: 13th in class of 314ish
I'm in ALL advanced classes last year as well as this year. I'm also self-studying AP World History (and maybe AP Biology if I have extra time)
My EC's
-German Club (Secretary hopefully. They still haven't picked officials yet)
-French Club
-Green Club Treasurer
-Photography Club
-Anytown Member
-Teacher Aid (Need to ask today..)
-AcDec

No awards. But in 7th grade my team placed first in a citywide math competition in NYC..

I'm currently scoring around 191 on my PSAT and SAT about 1980.

Am I on track for ivy-league? I'm still studying my SAT score to be above 200 on the PSAT in October.

Yeah!
If I would you, I’d raise my SAT score a bit. Be more active in a few more clubs. Gain some awards.

And PSAT, shoot for a score of 210+ (If you can) for your sophomore PSAT. I know it’s a lot. But it’ll give you a higher chance for ivy’s.

Thank you!

Anyone else?

no tencharacters

Dedicate a lot of time to the ECs you have. Admissions officers claim that a few ECs with time dedication looks better than a lot of random ECs. Pick things your passionate about and just dedicate yourself to them.

Dude. Did you guys even read, I’m an EFFIN SOPHOMORE?

Okay so I know these aren’t amazing scores, but it’s not like I won’t improve. I just took a practice test and I got a 2100.

If you just want people to to say yes then… Yes you have a chance. You won’t apply for another 2 years and haven’t taken SATs yet, so I wouldn’t worry about it yet. Who knows what can change when it comes to admissions between now and then.

OMG, forget it. Nvm. I guess I realized this is useless considering how I’ve never taken an offical test.

And the SATs, I’ll keep that in mind.</p>

THIS QUESTION IS CLOSED
