I would really appreciate it if you tell me what you think and what I should do to improve my chances.

It is very hard to say whether you will be a competitive applicant for those schools (especially H and P). Your PSAT score is bad, to put it bluntly, but of course that is not all that adcoms look at. You will need to work very hard to get competitive scores.

My advice: don’t fall in love with schools with admissions rates below 30%. That will most likely end in heart break. DON’T do things for the sake of admissions either. You should do what you like and what you are good at.

Good luck!

I agree with some of what the above poster said. The sophomore PSAT is not an accurate indicator of the real test. I scored 500 points higher between my sophomore PSAT and junior sat. So if the op sees a 2200 I definitely don’t doubt that being the accurate figure. Your resume looks good but is hard to chance without the full thing. Just do what you love and apply next year, you seem competitive but the year will make a difference.
Also I am not sure why the above poster thinks the top schools will “Only end in heartbreak” is that because of the PSAT scores? I can’t see how one could make a prediction like that, positive or negative, with really only half the application present. You’re on the right track just get a nice sat and keep doing what you love. The right school will come to you.

Thank you for the advice  I am taking SAT classes, so hopefully it’ll be around a 2200 and I am looking into other colleges that are easier to get into.
