Am I on the Right Track

I'm a sophomore in high school, but you can never start worrying about college too soon ^_^. I was wondering if someone could give me any tips on improvements for raising my chances of going to my dream school, UT Austin. There will be a lot of holes in these stats due to my lack of SAT and ACT scores. Alright, here we go:

Gender: Male
Race: African American
In-state
Goes to public school, semi-competitive (ranked 500 out of 2000 something high schools?)

Academics:
Pre-AP/AP classes: 1 AP this year, 5 Pre-AP. Next year I'm taking 6 AP classes.
Unweighted GPA:3.75
Weighted GPA: 4.8917
Rank: 71 out of 440 (16%)
PSAT scores(If it matters): Writing - 55 Math - 61 Reading - 56

Extracurricular:
-Mu Alpha Theta

...Yeah, I need more ECs

Am I on the right track? What should I improve on? Any help is good help! Thanks!

ECs, ECs, ECs…

Bump…

Sophomore here as well. Holy mother of god, 6 AP classes in one year?! Make sure your GPA doesn’t sink any lower!

PSAT is pretty bad to be honest - work on improving it during the summer.

And, of course, ECs are very important.
