I am a Freshman in high school with a 3.8 uneighted gpa, and around a 4.2 weighted. I want to get into Cornell. My gpa may seem low, this is only because I have been blinded by laziness and ignorance for the majority of Freshman year. I have only taken honors classes, as no AP's are available for Freshman at my school. I will be taking any available AP's for Sophomore year, and my gpa will definitely be higher. My goal for SAT's is a 2100, which may seem high, but I have very much potential. For extracrricular's I only have track, band, and will be signing up for student council. This may seem pathetic for extracurricular's, but my school is fairly small. I have no idea of my class rank, but I assume it is terrible, probably around 14/96. Over the Summer I will be spending much time volunteering at Animal shelter's, nursing home's, soup kitchen's, etc. I will be willing to do almost anything to raise my chances of getting accepted into Cornell. As of right now what are my chances of being accepted into Cornell?
