Hello,
I am currently a high school junior going to a private prep school, in the Westchester area. I am really interested in applying to pre-med college programs, like 6-7 year accelerated pre-med programs, however I do not know if I am on the right track academically. I currently take AP English, US History, Hon. Phys, Hon. Pre-calc, and Spanish 3. Last semester, I took an additional elective, Marine Bio.
I want to know what I can do this semester to boost my chances of getting into a pre-med program. I currently have 8 free periods throughout the week, so what can I do during that free time to help me get into the med program. Like, should I take SAT subject tests? Would the subject tests make up for the lack of challenging classes?
I plan on taking AP Calc AB, AP Chem, AP Stats, Econ, and Spanish 4 next year.
Thanks
