Am I On the Right Track?

I am going to be a junior. I attend school in New York. My dream is to go to UC Berkeley (Of course, across the country, to the dismay of my parents). As I haven't even taken the SAT yet, this is more of just "am I on the right track" type of thing. Other universities I am considering wil be at the end.

The universities:

UC Berkeley
SUNY Binghamton - My safe school, but its a good one
SUNY Stonybrook - Same as above, but just to make my parents happy lol b/c they don't want me going across the country
NYU
University of Pennsylvania

I know the list is crappy, so I encourage any suggestions of other college

Here are my thoughts/explanations:

Eigth grade sucked. I had terrible teachers. You can tell from my math A grade there from 9th and see the difference. Earth Science was a hard course for me though, so it wasnt just the teacher, unlike Math A.

10th grade has been amazing for me. I set myself a goal (98 final average) and I did it. Its helped to balance out the grades from the 8th that count towards high school (which I have a feeling will drastically lower my GPA). As you can see, I improved each year. Junior year I hope to keep that 98 final and same for senior. Of course, i will strive to get a 99 now.

The regents probably are not worth a grain of salt, but its nice to have good grades on there. My math and social studies ones are great, but my sciences if you haven't notice glare out a bit. especially the chem 89, though I consider i a 90, it still instills anger in me towards the one point I could have gotten.

Please be honest. I'm expecting a rude awakening when it comes to the SAT grade I need but that's okay.
