Am I on the right track?

Even though I am only a freshmen in high school right now I really want to make sure I am on the right track for getting into the ivies or stanford(my number 1 school)

freshmen schedule

biology
honors precalc/trig
english 9
honors chemistry
spanish 2
pe 9
world geo/health

sophomore schedule(most probably)

ap biology
ap calc ab(mabye bc)
english 10(honors if offered)
ap chemistry
spanish 3(honors if offered)
ap european history
another course to fill up my schedule

i know as a freshmen i am taking the most rigorous course possible and i am achieving all a's in them. I wasn't allowed to take ap euro this year and there aren't that many courses this year because we are a new school(we just opened)

my ec's as of now:

mu alpha theta president (doing mandelbrot testings and amc)
CSF secretary
Interact
varsity golf(for all 4 years hopefully)
soccer(both club and high school)
volunteering and job as a tutor over the summer

i need some advice
do you think i should take ap calc ab over the summer so i can take ap calc bc sophomore year?
or should i stick with this

also, i need some advice for really good ec's

Stanford's my first choice too. What's your rank? GPA? SAT scores? Are you a Freshman?

i smelled freshmeat when i saw your title and your sn, "stanford gurl".

stop thinking about colleges so much. don't make everything you do in high school geared towards getting into stanford. that's ********. you have to enjoy your high school years and find something you absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE and pursue it. that's what high shcool is for. your goal for high school is not to get into stanford. it should NOT be -_-

Well I mean I just REALLY want to get in.
Honestly, thats probably my only goal in high school.
As of now, I want to pursue medicine
But I love math and science.
I also love golf.
Thats probably my hook.

someone respond please
=)

oh yeah i also do 2 types of dance jazz and an indian classical dance
i have been doing both for the past 3 years and will continue for the next 4 years

wow, your school is lucky, I was only allowed to take 1 Ap class my sophomore year...

please respond....
i need advice

It looks like you are on the right track and in fact a head of most. But remember to have fun in HS and not to obsess/drive yourself crazy over getting into college, save that for Jr./Sr. year. I knew a girl whose only concern was getting into Stanford since we were in the 8th grade. She drove herself nuts, did not have a good time in HS, and ended up hateing HS. Her obsession also drove everyone around her away from her boy friend (me). Don't end up like that.

wow i am a freshman too, wanting to get into Stanford EA, and i must say you are WAY ahead of me. i'm only allowed to take AP World next year :/ but good luck! IMO, you seem on the right track.

I sense burnout.

Having fun in high school truly is a unique experience. Unless you are like me and love to stay up till 3 and not start homework till 12, you will be in for a shocker. I say if you really want to have a good chance, you need to do activities that set you apart from the rest of the pack. Everyone is going to have good enough grades and scores, but doing something unique is the best way to improve admissions chances at a place like stanford.

Unique Ecs are truly hard to find, but make sure you find something you enjoy doing. Only you know what you can do for ECs.

i know it sounds a little overused since everyone says this, but pick one or two things that you love and get really good at it. for some people this may be a sport, for others volunteering, it doesn't matter what it is, just pursue it.

yeah I really love golf, so I'm probably going to really drive myself at that.
