7 - 9 : Volunteered in the Medical Records department of local elderly home - roughly 250 hrs.
7 - 10 : Tutored children in reading and math in two different tutoring programs during summer and school year. - roughly 150 hrs.
7 - 11 : Volunteered at local library at summer reading table, also part of lead team during 11 - 12th grade. - roughly 250 hours
11 - 12 : Volunteer at local hospital.</p>

10 - 12 : Member of school Chem Team - Varying Leadership Roles
10 - 12 : Member of Debate Team: Will likely reach states in 11 - 12 - Co-Captain 11 - 12
10 - 12 : Envirothon team member (leadership roles may arise later?)

9 - 12 : Set up business to teach local kids tennis - Leadership Role as Founder
10 - 11 : Shadow local doctor - roughly 100 hours ??
11 - 12 : Internship at NIH (not happened yet, but will try)</p>

<p>Yeah, I think so. If you get a top SAT score like you’re practicing at and keep up your GPA, you have a shot. If you get that internship at NIH or do some other research of the sort, that can definitely help your application as well. Best of luck!</p>

<p>What practice SAT did you do? CollegeBoard’s practice tests are often easier than Kaplan/Barron’s.</p>
