Hey everyone! As of right now, I am currently starting my year out as a junior and as one can see through my username, I am shooting for the UCs, especially UCSD. As a begin this year, I just want to know if as of right now, I'm on the right track. Here are my grades:

Freshman Year:
Semester 1

Geometry 1 A
English I AS B+
Health A
PE A
Biology 1 A
Tech Theater (elective) A-
Chinese 1 A

Semester 2

Geometry 1 B
English I AS B+
Mod. World History A
PE A
Biology 2 A
Tech Theater A-
Chinese 2 A

Sophomore year
Semester 1

Algebra 3 A

PE A

Semester 2

Algebra 4 A-
English 4 AS A
Contemporary world studies A
Chemistry 1 A
Chinese 3 A
PE A

Now I know, although not for fact, that many UCs do not look at freshmen year transcripts but they do look at the overall GPA. So for Junior year, I am currently taking the following:

Semester 1 And 2

Precalculus
AP American Literature (English)
AP Biology
AP US History
School community service
Chinese 5-6

Assuming I were to earn A's in all my classes, except a B in English for both semesters, would my chances of getting into UCSD, or any other school except Berkley be high? Also, my SAT score is predicted to be around 1800s, although I have not taken it yet. I also do Tennis and have been for four years, and this year I'm also starting out cross country, along with 200 volunteer hours. Could anyone help guide me through what I might need to improve on in order to get into the UCs? Any help here? Any tips or tricks or things I can do to ensure my chances of getting into a UC (besides raising my SAT score to around 2000+)? Help would be appreciated!
