and yes ALL of my stats are REAL and I am NOT trolling. This is a legit question and I would like legitimate answers. Please only nice and constructive comments please. Do I need to keep or drop anything? Does my GPA or Class rank need to be a little higher? Any comments? Also, I promise I am the president and founder of that many clubs... my school isn't exactly Science oriented and I had the ideas and I got them started as well... I haven't taken any standardized tests (ACT SAT) and my AP World Score I will not be reporting... Lol

I hope you are aware that there are only 10 spots on the Common Application for ECs. So even if you did found all those clubs you won’t be able to put them all on the application. And none of us can tell you what to drop - you need to ask yourself which clubs and activities you’re doing because you truly enjoy them and which are just “application fillers” or something you started to get into college. Trust me, adcoms can see right through those.

Your essays and recommendations hold a lot of weight in the admissions process - it’s not the purpose of ECs to be part of every single honor society and club and start six clubs just to look impressive. In other words, your laundry list of ECs, GPA, and class rank are not guaranteeing you a spot in HYPSM - those schools are a crapshoot even for INTEL and Siemens winners. Also, none of us can properly chance you without standardized test scores.

Since you’re only a freshman you will find that as your course load increases you will be forced to drop things that you are truly not passionate about. Until then, as adcoms say, “don’t do 50,000 things just to impress us - doing two or three things WELL comes across in a much better way than being part of every single club at your school.”

Besides, you’re not applying for three years!!! Get off this site, go enjoy your life and your high school years and come back to worry about college when the time comes.

I totally agree with @yoloyng about enjoying your life! However, I will answer your question. Your grades, class rank, and rigour in schedule are on target. You have 10 spaces for EC’s to prove why your different than every other applicant. Generic stuff for example, starting the bike club doesn’t show any passion whatsoever! If you like Biology maybe do an internship at a lab, or reach out to the alumni for these schools. You got some work to do, Good luck!

No matter how much you do, everyone has a very small chance at those colleges.

Your academics seem really solid. However, I feel like your ECs have too much breadth rather than depth. I would suggest focusing on the ones that you really enjoy, so that you do them really well. For example, I currently see that you seem pretty passionate about music, so I would develop that.
