Thank you for your time.

All that stuff is great and all, but you just spewed a whole laundry list of random EC’s/awards/etc that shows nothing unique about you. It would be a lot more impressive if you were truly passionate about one thing, like showing some inventions you spent quality time with family/friends to make, or a link to your artwork, or advanced scripts of code you worked for weeks on. I might be wrong on this, but you should emphasize depth over breadth. I realize your just a sophomore, but now is the time to get intimate with one or a few things, you posted this thread at the right time. If you really want to get into MIT, you have to seriously stand out. Also, shoot for straight A’s. (A few B’s won’t kill you though). Also, why do want to go into the navy and then go to law school??? West point seems like a better place for you :)

Trust me, he’s spamming the WP boards, along with every other board he can find right now asking the exact same questions, with the exact same stats, that he posted back a few months ago, again in January, again a few days ago, etc.

I’m a liaison officer for West Point and trust me, a 2.97 GPA isn’t getting him in there any more than into MIT.

Also just curious - why would you recommend West Point if he wants to be a Naval Officer? ;)

obvious ■■■■■ is not so obvious  thought he said military, my bad.

Anyone who can successfully spell Massachusetts gets a thumbs up from me.
