Am I Pitzer Candidate?

So I had a question to anyone truly familiar with the campus and the admissions process. I'm kind of a unique case as I am a returning, non-traditional student at 29 years of age. I'd be transferring in with a lot of honors, awards and accolades from my recent stint at community college (my GPA is only 3.78 since it includes my mediocre transcript from my late teens), but I'm not sure if Pitzer cares about recent success or just the bottom line. I also worry my age will be a disadvantage. Or the fact that I'm not local (I hail from Maryland).

I went to visit the campus during the summer with my significant other, and had the opportunity to talk to one of the faculty members and see some of the facilities (school was out, so nobody was really around). My initial reaction is that it seemed really nice, and its reputation as home to some of most engaged, interdisciplinary-minded students you'll find in academia is really appealing. I just worry that without a real view of the student body that I might feel out of place as an old fart. Or that I'm not a prime Pitzer candidate.
