i just got my sat back and i am confused about the percentiles. the score report has both the national and state percentiles. i am from oklahoma, a fairly all around dumb state. every other standardized test i have taken, the national scores are much higher than the oklahoma scores, but on the sat my state percentiles were lower than the national percentiles by quite a bit. am i reading this wrong, or is oklahoma just good at the sat?

I think that it's because very few people take the SATs in OK. Therefore, the ones who do actually take it are very smart.

The same thing happened with me in Missouri, which like Oklahoma, is not an educationally strong state.

that's exactly what i figured it would be. we're pretty much all act here.

"a fairly all around dumb state. "
awww! :( (even though it made me chuckle. :[ )

I agree with the above posts; ACT is prevalent, right?
